Description:
Perennials from compact rhizomes with mostly bicolored scales; rachises dark brown, terete, lustrous, uniformly villous prosimally; leaf blades 3-4 pinnate; costae lacking multiseriate scales; ultimate segments beadlike, densely villous abaxially, sparsely so adaxially; spores +/- 70 microns long.
