Habitat: In coastal sand with some loam and readily available moisture. In dense coastal grasses up to 2.5 ft tall. In full sun and wind on the E side of the S most finger of Morro Bay; 30-40 ft from high tide mark. Usually found as a solitary plant or in groups of 2 or 3 plants
Description: Upright biennial herb, 1-4 ft tall
