Mixed desert shrub/grassland in flooded arid, ephemeral-dissected valley on San Raphael uplift stratigraphy highly interrupted with volcanic sills/dikes amid sedimentary layers; SE aspect 2° slope.
Plants about 120 on 5 A; 2 ft tall; inflorescence very fine.
Seed collected from 100 plants; to be used for general research, genetic studies, long-term storage & site rehab. & apos; Bigelow sage.& apos; Voucher for: Seeds of Success program. UMNH.A.2010.42
