Habitat: South west slope, flat to moderate. Desert shrub and desert grass. 15% cover. Dominant shrub listed below, and a few other shrubs of various kinds. Dominant grasses and other plants, including large white Oenothera listed below. Surface rock 90%, mostly black lava. Parent rock Ferron sandstone and lava.
Associated Species: Atriplex cuneata, Hilaria jamesii, Oryzopsis hymenoides, Yucca, Phacelia, Oenothera
