Habitat: Juniperus coahuilensis woodland, mostly south-facing cliffs of the youngest unit of the Upper Devonian age Martin Formation consisting of thick, blocky, homogeneous ledges of weathered fine to medium, pale brown-gray crystalline dolomite. Inclusions of chert nodules infrequent.
