Habitat: Draws and open desert of San Rafael Swell. ESE aspect, 5° slope.
Substrate: Red-brown colored silt-sandy aridisols.
Associated Species: Achnatherum hymenoides, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus sp., Sphaeralcea coccinea
Description: Plants about 1000 on 1.5-2 A; 1 ft tall.
Reproductive Condition: fruit bearing
Notes: Seed collected from 800 plants; to be used for general research, germ plasm studies, long-term storage & site rehab. 'Galleta.' Voucher for: Seeds of Success program.
