Fen curves around east and south portions of the lake. Many "No Trespassing" signs posted. Mostly herbaceous Cyperaceae with shrubs on borders. Actively maintained by The Nature Conservancy. Fay Lake Road borders on east and south side fo fen. 14m west of pond south of Fay Lake finger. Cyperaceae dominant with some Dasiphora fruticosa. Ground uneven and moist.
Population - found next to clump of Carex prairea, not very abundant, found between hummocks in wetter zones.
