Locality: U.S.A., California, Los Angeles, Liebre Moutains region, Agua Dulce Canyon, just north of Highway 14 and the confluence with Escondido Canyon, along Agua Dulce Canyon Road.

Elevation: 671 meters Verbatim Elevation: ~ 2200 ft.
Habitat: Somewhat disturbed canyon bottom with gravelly benches and down-cut channel. Surrounding slopes of steep, eroded cobbley sedimentary deposits.
Associated Species: Riparian strip with Baccharis salicifolia, Salix lasiolepis, Salix exigua, Ambrosia psilostachya, and Toxicodendron diversilobum. Surrounding slopes with low, open scrub of Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca whipplei, and Salvia apiana.
