growing in area with significant lichen adn byrophyte cover, scattered Orecochrysum parryi, Potentilla gracilis ver pulcherrima, Antennaria parviflora, and Flagaria virginiana. Growing with B. lanceolatum, B. lunaria, B. minganense.
