Habitat: On granite coutcrop in wash below saddle at the head of the canyon. Rock soil texture.
Associated Species: Juniperus monosperma, Opuntia sp., Cercocarpus montanus, Rhus trilobata.
Description: 30+ plants per hectare. Plant height 5 dm, plant-width 5 dm. Flowers cream colored. Clump of 6 or 7plants.
