Description:
Short shrub. Long deeply divided gray leaves, narrowly to broadly cuneate. Leaf divisions 1/3 - 1/2 blade length.

Specimen plant traits vary widely. At study site C. Collecting demographic data on Artemisia tripartita (10% cover), Artemisia tridentata ssp. vaseyana ( ~ 12% cover)
