Habitat: Grows in minor narrow drainage on East slope of canyon with Yucca baccata in open Pinus edulis, Quercus gambelli and Cercocarpus montanus community.
Description: Stems are few to many, decumbent-ascending in open clumps; flowering bright yellow; common & widespread in forest understory.
