United States, Utah, Washington, 10 mi. E of Zion National Park entrance.
Habitat:
Growing under sagebrush in an area where sagebrush predominates. (sagebrush) scrub oaks, pinyon, and juniper scattered over area.
Description:
Leaflets rather fleshy, glaucous (bluish green); all plants with tendrils and clambering, from long rootstock; banner pinkish-orchid, fairly dep in color; wings more nearly orchid; keel ighter, all fading to bluish violet; remarkable for much reflexed banner, short claws of all petals, and broad, deeply notched banner.
