Elevation: 985 meters Verbatim Elevation: 3231 ft
Habitat: Snaking drainage from eroded buttes of Hell Creek Formation origin. Vegetation sparse in sandy drainage with grasslands on ridges of gully. Astragalus bisulcatus is the only selenium hyper accumulator present. Area grazed by cattle.
Reproductive Condition: flowering
Notes: Purple and yellow flowers. Growing on margins of a large drainage barren of most vegetation. Common plant species include prairie sand reed and A. bisulcatus.
