Habitat: Creek bed, flat, riparian area. Open, exposed area. Open Platanus racemosa-Quercus agrifolia/ Open Eriogonum fasciculum/ Closed Bromus madritensis, other grasses meadow comunity.; Sandy soil.
Notes: Perennial tree,tree,12-25m. tall, bark grayish-white., trunk not deeply ridged, leaves light and bright green, abaxial leaves sticky, adaxial leaves glossy.
