Habitat: Hillside in pine-oak woodland.
Associated Species: Pinus chihuahuana, Quercus hypoleucoides, Arbutus arizonica, Muhlenbergia longiligula.
Description: Perennial forb; sterile leafy branches arising from stem; cyathial glands yellow with horns; capsules 4 mm long, without warts.
