Habitat: Along a jeep trail. A fairly localized population of around 40 individuals above, beside and below road.
Associated Species: Adenostema fasciculatum, Arctostaphylos pringlei var. drupacea, A. glauca, Cercocarpus betuloides, Quercus wislizeni, Ceanothus leucodermus, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Hesperoyucca whipplei, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Dichelostema capitatum, Calyptridium monandrum, Festuca microstachys, Camissonia, Claytonia, etc.
