Habitat: Nearly flat valley floor with low silty mounds, hummocks, and washes. +/- flat. Alkaline silt, clay and gravel soil. Quaternary alluvium; probably Pleistocene lacustrine deposits of siltstone, bentonite, marl, and ash. Atriplex-Suaeda scrub.
