Habitat: Rocky N-facing slope in oak-juniper woodland.
Associated Species: Salix gooddingii, Juniperus deppeana, Quercus arizonica, Quercus emoryi, Glandularia sp., Muhlenbergia rigens, Piptochaetium fimbriatum.
Description: Rhizomatous (?) perennial forb; stems red, leaves with prominent pale midrib and veins; flowers white, bell-shaped, visited by bees, flies, and diurnal moths.
Notes: Duplicates to ARIZ, ASU.
