Locality: United States, Utah, Kane, Grand Staircase: flats W of Seaman Wash loop road, 1.25 miles E. of Petrified Hollow Wash and 1 air mile NW of US Hwy 89, about 6.2 miles N of the AZ state line.

Elevation: 1759 meters (5770ft)
Habitat: Artemisia tridentata, Agropyron cristatum seeding community on flats and gentle E-dripping slopes. Veg cover 40-75%. Juniperus osteopsperma occasional.
Substrate: Brown sandy clay-loam soil derived from the Moenkopi Formation. Biotic crust absent or consisting of cyanobacteria.
Reproductive Condition: flowering or fruiting
