Locality: U.S.A., Utah, Sevier, Kings Meadow. Hwy 119 to junction of hwy. 24, turn left. Drive 6 mi. going past the covenant gas field. Turn right onto the sevier co. landfill rd. Go 3 mi. s., turn right onto Jeep trail.

Habitat: Sedimentary, sorted colvanic ash and eroded sandstone and volcanic muds. Burned and flooded. Alluvial accumulation, out-wash sandy plain. Slope:2 deg. Aspect: NE. Soil: gray course sand. Ephemeral bog/sandy lakebed. Ringed by a pinyon/juniper woodland. Pinus edulis, Junipersus osteosperma, artemisia tridentata, salsola kali, Helianthus annus, Nicotiana amenuata, Cleome lutea, Chenopodium, Hesperostipa comata.
