Habitat: Wasatch National Forest, slopes above Upper Sterling Rd (FSR 034), ca 1 mi E Beaver Creek Campground. Dry, steep, rocky, SE-facing slope. Scrubby vegetation on slope, Ceanothus velutinus dominant; scattered Douglas-fir and pines at top.
Notes: Abundant at top of slope. Rays lavender to purple.
