Habitat: Sonoran Desert. Lower Colorado River Valley Subdivision.
Substrate: Wash on terrace below mountains in silty/sandy soil with cobbles.
Associated Species: Larrea tridentata, Ambrosia dumosa, Hibiscus denudatus, Allionia incarnata, Parkinsonia microphylla.
Description: Uncommon; annual herb.
Notes: Pebbly Pincushion.
