Locality: Mexico, Veracruz, Mexico: Veracruz. South of Xalapa, from road between Orizaba and Cordoba (Federal Highway 150), north on Highway 125 to ca 7.7 km south of junction with turnoff to Huatusco center, 1.8 km north of turnoff to Presidio, just north of Las Villas (a private ranch?), near km 32.7 (km signs measure from junction near Fortin (de las Flores) to the south). Montane roadside with small patch of remnant forest and secondary thickets (most of area cleared), with Cestrum, Lobelia, Lopezia, Salvia, Piper, Selaginella, Monnina. Shrub ca 3-4 m tall; orangish latex present; fruits immature, green, rim pale brownish. Lat. 19°6'4.5"N Long. 97°00'36.1"W Datum: NAD27.
