Habitat: Inundated and dominated by Typha latifolia and Carex stricta. Located at west end of fen, area is farily diverse, but appears stressed. Dasiphora fruticosa present but dying. Mentha canadensis and Verbena hastata very common. Wooded fen with Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, Betula pumila, Rhamnus alnifolia, and Populus tremuloides. Herbaceous later is dominated by Carex stricta, but also include Phalaris arundinacea, Lythrum salicaria, Carex lacustris, Glyceria striata, and Carex sterilis. Ground pools in footsteps.
