Large north-south fen; multiple ownser; many arms; large expanses of Carex stricta. Fen elongated and amoeboid with many small armas and large amounts of edge. Oak uplands often inserted intro prairie fen as peninsulas. Oftern large amounts of open water due to beaver flooding. Asjacent to railroad that runs the entire length of the fen. Wooded fen dominated by Larix laricina, Toxicodendron vernix, and Cornus foemina. Herbaceous later mostly Carex lacustris, Solidago rugosa, S. patula, and Eutrochium maculatum.
