Habitat: sand
Associated Species: Larrea, Ambrosia dumosa, and Cassia armata
Description: Hgts. to 2: ft. Lower stems pale tannish with longitudinal strips of brittle papery white bark. Smaller stems pale green. Lvs. pale dull green, essentially same on both surfaces. Rays pale violet; disk bright-yel- low. Phyllaries very pale green.
