Associated Species: Chorizanthe cusgidata var. villosa, Navarretia sguarrosa, Juncus Ehaeocephalus (depauperate), Egg unilateralis (mostly withered), Sgergularia rubra, and CryQtan-Egg leiocarpao Nearby was an extensive bed of Cargobrotus edulis.
Description: Slightly aromatic. Corollas yellow. Pappus white. Achenes light brown. Scarious parts of involucral bracts white to straw color. Herbage mainly a pale, dull blue-green (some plants with but little of the bluish cast). Basal lvs. withered in some individuals. Stems frequently whitish just below fl. clusters.
