Locality: usa, California, San Francisco, A stoutish-stemmed herb on moist bank of Mountain Lake, near Presidio Golf Course, San Francisco, S. F. Co., Calif.
Habitat: moist bank of Mountain Lake
Associated Species: Eucalyptus globulus, Salix lasiantha, Bromus diandrus,-Plantago lanceolata, Gnaphalium luteoalbum, Polypogo monspeliensis, and Agrostis semiverticillata.
Description: Corollas pale yellow, shading to very light green at base. Phyllaries still young, pearly white. Lvs. and stems slightly glandular above; this was somewhat ob- scured by the whitish, loose-woolly indument. Herbage generally light green.
Notes: Nearby, lower on bank and in shallows, was a patch of Scirpus californicus.
