Near revegetation site but not believed to have been planted, low growing, ca 1 m high x 1-2/3 m wide, 2(-3) pads high, flowers all closing (evening, cloudy), 63(l) x 41(w) mm with hypanthium (hyp) 30x13 mm, smooth, 64x50 mm with hyp 31x13 mm, 60x40 mm, 63x57 mm, 70x45 mm, 77x45 mm with hyp 38x14 mm, 63x46 mm, 72x38 mm, 65x43 mm; additional flowers collected 30 June 2016 fully opened: 60x65 mm with hyp 33x13 mm, 66x60 mm with very narrow and long hyp 32x13.5 mm, inner tepal 30x24 mm, broadly oblanceolate, outer perianth light yellow with light chartreuse midstripe, inner tepals yellow with red base, filaments light chartreuse-cream becoming light yellow distal 2/3, anthers light yellow, style white, stigma light chartreuse-yellow.
