Habitat: Open rocky slopes of small hill in scattered Engelmann spruce forest. Soil -sandy loam. With Apocynum androsaemifolium, Sorbus scopulina, Heterotheca villosa, Cryptogramma sp., Ivesia gordonii, Anaphalis margaritacea, Penstemon sp., Eriogonum subalpinum, Iris missouriensis, Achillea lanulosa, Carex sp., Castilleja sp., Heliomeris multiflora, Geranium sp., Cerastium sp., Boechera drummondii.

Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt

Notes: Clumped. Rays white.
