United States, Colorado, Las Animas, Head of Cottonwood Creek, an eastern tributary of Carrizo Creek, near the Bob Dodge Ranch, 7 mi. s. and 16 mi. e. of Kim, just w. of the Baca Co. line.

The point was placed near the head of Cottonwood Creek, just West of Baca/Las Animas County line. Could not find Bob Dodge Ranch as described in locality, and since there are a number of locations that the point could be placed, uncertainty set at 2000. J
