Habitat: In a wet swale with Agropyron albicans, Gentianopsis thermalis, Crepis runcinata.

Notes: Aster chilensis ssp. adscendens, det. W. A. Weber 1982 / Aster near foliaceus with influence of A. eatonii and /or A. occidentalis, det Almut G. Jones 1985. Originally ID as Aster occidentalis (Nutt.) T. & G.
