Habitat: Occasional in igneous gravel and silt in mostly unshaded bed of intermittent stream draining forested rhyolite slopes. Associates include Chenopodium sp., Digitaria sp., Juglans microcarpa, Leptochloa sp., Muhlenbergia lindheimeri, Persicaria sp., Polanisia uniglandulosa, Solanum citrullifolium.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
