Locality: United States, Arizona, Coconino, NW of Kaibab Plateau near Le Fevre Wash along U.S. 89A ca. 13.0 road miles SE of its junction with AZ 389 in Fredonia. T40N, R1E, Sec. 17. Lat.: 36°51'55"N Long.: 112°19'02"W (WGS84 Datum).
Elevation: 1745 meters Verbatim Elevation: 5725 Feet
Habitat: In rocky (Kaibab Limestone) soil on W-facing slope with Artemisia, Chrysothamnus & Eriogonum.
Notes: perennials from closely branched caudices; petals yellow; styles ca. 1.5 mm long; fruiting pedicels +- straight, divergent-ascending; fruits densely pubescent, the trichome rays short & +- divergent; ovules usually 4 per locule.
