Description:
Plants present with both typical blue-green leaves as well as very thick patches of plants with dead leaves (sprayed by weed crews apparently two months ago); growing very thick along the narrow canyon bottom but also extensively scattered upslope growing under oaks and maples and then in fully open exposures in rock outcrops to sheer cliffs
Reproductive Condition:
Vegetative
Notes:
Observed in this area at least as early as 2011; the disturbance caused by the Granite Flume likely assisted the spread into this location following the widespread use of this species in foothill landscaping starting probably in the 1970's to early 1980's
