Slight SE slope, desert shrub zone. Near sheep camp, very disturbed but not recent. Total cover >5%. Dominant shrubs Tetradymia glabrata and Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus var. puberulus. Dominant grasses Sitanion hystrix, Oryzopsis hymenoides. With Russian thistle, halogeton, low sage. Surface rock <5%. Eureka or Swan Peak Quartzite or both, and Fish Haven dolomite above; Quaternary colluvium and alluvium.
