Red loam. Desert grassland. Scattered. Long lived perennial. Leaves lanceolate covered with short hairs making the leaves lightly silvery. Stems with soft white hairs, white wooly stem. Calyx with long thick hairs at base, therefore base of calyx is white hairy. Inflorescence greenish. Petals yellow, the corolla tube generally exceeding the calyx.
