Southern cattail marsh (Typha angustifolia dominant, w/ sedges and grasses), divisible into 3 poorly marked zones resulting from increasing water depth: B) Middle (grass-sedge) zone, w/ Typha angustifolia (freq.), Clamagrostis canadensis (dominant), Carex aquatilis (subdominant), C. lacustris, Scirpus acutus, Salix petiolaris, Pilea fontana, Cicuta bulbifera, Lucopus uniflorus. Rare; only at line of transition between B) and C) but belonging more to the former habitat zone.
