Notes: Sandy gypsum and siltstone of Yeso Formation. With Juniperus monosperma, Artemisia bigelovii, Phacelia sp. and Mentzelia sp. Forms diffusely branched caespitose mounds up to 2.5 dm in diameter; leaves and stems ascending to erect.
