U.S.A., Georgia, Lee, Just N of Desert Rd, about 3.7 (air) mi. SSW of Cobb.
On sandy, loamy, and muddy strand of Chokee Creek (left bank). Shade provided by floodplain forest trees, especially red maple, but also sweetgumm, American elm, and oaks (water, willow, and diamond-leaf). In general vicinity were saplings of pecan and chinaberry. Soil in Herod-Muckalee series.
Among associates were Panicum gymnocarpon and Polygonum pensylvanicum as well as small-sized Boehmeria cylindrica, Eclipta prostrata, and Ludwigia decurrens.
