Habitat: Flat disturbed area, dried duck club pond with alkaline clay soil, deep mud cracks, some standing water.
Associated Species: Weedy herbs such as Spergularia Beta, Melilotus ind., Rumex, Phalaris min., etc.
Description: Common erect annual to 1 m tall, atedges of dried (moist) pond; fls. green. Dead plants from last year present; current crp varies from seedlings to fruitng plants. Many pulled and all clearly annual.
