Habitat: Gravelly flat in oak woodland/scrub grassland.
Associated Species: Prosopis velutina, Quercus oblongifolia, Quercus emoryi, Juniperus deppeana, Dasylirion wheeleri, Sarcomphalus obtusifolius, Ericameria laricifolia, Isocoma tenuisecta, Nolina microcarpa, Yucca "schottii," Bothriochloa barbinodis, Eragrostis curvula, Bouteloua spp.
Description: Small succulent, cluster of 3 large and 10 small stems measuring 12 cm tall x 15 cm wide; tepals magenta.
