Habitat: Sand bank in canyon bottom; oak woodland.
Associated Species: Quercus emoryi, Prosopis velutina, Fraxinus velutina, Dasylirion wheeleri, Baccharis sarothroides, Baccharis salicifolia, Cirsium neomexicanum, Pseudognaphalium leucocephalum, Muhlenbergia rigens, Muhlenbergia emersleyi, Aristida ternipes, Bouteloua curtipendula.
Description: Rhizomatous perennial forb; stems pinkish, glabrous; leaves glabrous, opposite, with prominent pale midrib and veins; flowers white with yellowish throat, in terminal clusters.
Notes: Duplicates to ARIZ, ASU.
