Locality: USA, Arizona, Santa Cruz, Las Cienegas National Conservation Area; in the southern end of the NCA, about 100m west of the old wooden corral, and about 1 km north from intersection with highway 82, collected along the base of the alluvial hills which bound the west side of the road

Elevation: 1407 meters (4615ft)
Habitat: Semi-desert grassland habitat with some Prosopis juliflora encroachment along disturbed roadsides, dense grasslands become more dominant further from the road, becoming interspersed with various herbs and forbs along the hillsides
Associated Species: Oenothera curtiflora, Proboscidea parviflora, Isocoma tenuisecta, Bouteloua chondrosioides, Hilaria mutica, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Eriochloa acuminata, Prosopis juliflora
