Habitat: Growing upstream from the old concrete dam, riparian corridor is more narrow along this portion of the creek before dropping below the dam, banks are dominated with dense bunch grasses, sedges, and other wetland vegetation, canopy of Populus fremontii and woody understory with Fraxinus velutina and Salix gooddingii;
Associated Species: Atriplex canescens, Acacia greggii, Sorghum halpense, Elymus canadensis, Populus fremontii, Prosopis juliflora, Salix gooddingii., Juniperus arizonica, Polypogon monspeliensis, Erythranthe guttata, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Epipactis gigantea
