Rocky hillside above small wash. Slope 20 degrees, facing N77E. Sand, cobble, and rock substrate. Quaternary alluvium in wash, hillside of Cambrian Prospect Mountain quartzite. Blackbrush scrub. Most plants scattered along the hillside, but a few plants in creosote bush scrub in the wash drainage.
