Along stream in pine forest; small plants are from drier sides of gully; large plants are from lush edge of brook.

Trifolium parryi, det. Duane Isely, 1972. Original ID: Trifolium parryi ssp. parryi. The chromosome number of one plant of this population was 2n=16 from root tips. T. Mosquin, 1963.
