In large mesic meadow bounded by open forest of Pinus aristata and Populus tremuloides; with mixed, diverse meadow species including Penstemon rydbergia, Oxytropis splendens, O. sericea, Antennaria rosea, A. microphylla, Anemone multifida ssp. globosa. Common clump forming grass. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
