Alpine tundra, in depauperated Kobresia meadow, in drainage depression.

Original ID:Polygonum bistortoides. Pubescent ventral leaf surfaces. Here the glabrous form and pubescent form grow together as sporadic individual variants; there seems to be no racial or habitat differentiation worthy of taxonomic status.
